🚨 BREAKING: ~60 injured, 6 in serious condition in Iranian missile strike on Arad, southern Israel following direct hit
➤ Israel’s Channel 12 described a “very difficult scene,” reporting over 100 injured, while Israel’s official rescue service MDA said at least 59 people have been transferred to hospitals.
➤ Casualty breakdown via Zirat News: 6 in serious condition, 13 moderate, and around 40 with mild injuries.
➤ MDA said the missile directly hit a residential building with multiple entrances. The IDF said the missile carried roughly half a ton of explosives and that two interception attempts failed, adding the projectile was not new and had been used previously.
💢 Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote on X that failed interceptions over heavily defended areas like Dimona (site of an earlier strike today) signal the battle is “entering a new phase,” adding that “Israel’s skies are defenseless” and that “the time has come to implement the next pre-designed plans.” He wished a “Happy Nowruz to the Iranian nation.”
