📣ROOKIE TIP for some of the NJ LEGISLATURE LIFERS: READ the bills BEFORE you put your name on them, or rubber-stamp YES. I'm often asked why I speak on so many bills on the floor. The answer: BECAUSE I READ THE BILLS. I have found glaring errors, conflicts with current established state or federal law, etc. while preparing for Committee hearings and floor votes. If not intentionally designed in error for political shenanigan purposes, often the bill's sponsor or supporters flash a "surprised face" when pointed out...yet still manage to plow us headfirst into court. That's a big problem when the problem is in YOUR BILL that YOU "wrote". Add that to the reasons I don't appreciate getting a 300-page incomplete budget document (still missing "pork" resolutions) that allocates $50-$60 billion plus in taxpayer money—just 48 hours before a vote. Adulting 101: Read something BEFORE you put your John Hancock on it. You're welcome. Last year's debacle ⬇️

THIS IS WHAT HAD BEEN NEEDED FOR A VERY LONG TIME. Larry Krasner is the Soros-backed district attorney of Philadelphia who loves to threaten ICE agents with arrest while letting dangerous criminals out of jail. In a stunning turn of events this week, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court accused Krasner of misrepresenting the facts of cases in his quest to dismiss charges against criminals. They also imposed an embarrassing new rule on him. Going forward, when Krasner wants to dismiss charges and let someone out of jail, the case is required to be reviewed by the state attorney general’s office. This is way overdue, but it’s great to see Krasner get his comeuppance. Source: First Comment
