One of the less talked about parts of low budget documentary filmmaking is archival research. Starts off fun, because it's different, & then pretty quickly becomes a massive undertaking. Currently going through this tiny little Fed Gov Act. A comfy 6600 pages!

We love hearing from orgs who watch The Invisible Class & find it inspires them to action. Project Empathetic is a High School org that screened the film and then mentored younger students to help create cards for homeless residents of a local shelter :) #AffordableHousing

6 months into our awesome "side" project "HOMECOMING". About the challenges of formerly incarcerated folks living with HIV/AIDS. Tremendous learning and sharing opportunity. If you're curious, here's our newest newsletter. #justicereform linkedin.com/posts/upstartm…

My wife says the weekend starts on Saturday and ends Monday morning. I say Friday night is start of the weekend and Sunday is a “school night”. Who’s right?

After the fires, we've been working with Camp Okizu via our pro bono video program. They provides free, medically supervised, residential camp programs for children & families with cancer. Today is their annual fundraiser & hopefully we'll helped them raise the money they need!

We were proud to take part in another screening at @SSU_1961 and in great company with journalists like @mtaibbi and films like “Inequality For All.” We’re glad to teach students about the systemic causes that created mass homelessness. #Homelessness #InvisibleClass
