Shanahan and Lynch had taken five mid-round running backs before doing it yet again this year with Kaelon Black. Joe Williams Trey Sermon Tyrion Davis-Price Isaac Guerendo Jordan James Out of those five picks, none of them have eclipsed 500 career yards as a 49er.

I do believe he could flip inside to LG in the short term, play next to Trent and then eventually bump out. My plan for him would work him at both backup OT/LG spots to see how he handles playing multiple positions and flipping sides and based on how he picks up LG, that would determine where I’d want him once we got closer to preseason. There is risk involved because this is based on projecting it works out but I see him as someone who could do it, I don’t view all OL like that.”
