Over £2.5M funding helped build one of the largest #experimental #labs of its kind in the UK, this never could have been achieved without the support of @ERC_research @leverhulmetrust and, you really made us work for it, but @NERCscience too! Thanks!

We ran a #summerscience exhibit at the @Royalsociety, presented our work at over 50 national and international #conferences, won #awards and hosted the @GeoLiv2017 conference for over 450 #Geoscientists in #Liverpool, spurring exciting new connections and collaborations.

We’ve studied #volcanoes from Japan to America to Peru, discovered new physico-chemical processes, helped improve volcanic hazard preparedness in Guatemala, and explored the boundaries of geothermal energy in Iceland. Thanks to all who came along for the #research ride!
