helped me to watch shows in hs that truly were a lifeline for me in terms of staying alive&coming out, helped me to have the courage to join anime club independently without friends in college and make friends when i was so dependent on others, and formed me today. Rip to my hero

akira toriyama helped shape me into who i am today. i watched dbz when i was six years old growing up in an abusive household and clung to it like my life depended. that show led me to discover countless others similar to it, helped me to create manga with my friends in 5th grade
