I think he’s made the absolute right call. And it’s a fucking tough one to have made. Salah will be on either at half time or shortly after it and the manager will be assuming they’ve got to play 120+ minutes. It’s only a weird decision until you think about it for a sec.

I like the idea of this team and it's pretty much what I would have liked to see. Maybe it turns out to be a masterstroke or maybe it's clusterfuck - all depends on how it'll play out but the idea and thinking behind it looks very good to me.

A big call to put Mohamed Salah on the bench, but I suspect Arne Slot genuinely sees him and Rio Ngumoha as 'finishers' in this game. Liverpool got slightly weaker with every sub in last year's meeting with PSG - that won't be the case this time.

@BigRedSulk Well, cos it hasn't been done enough. We all wanted them both on the pitch at the same time so somethings going to give. Ngumoha is young and a brilliant sub bus has Salah warranted a start? Not really. They're both going to be needed though. I'm pretty excited.
