This morning the Winnetka Police Department responded to an incident at New Trier High School: all parties involved are safe and accounted for, and there is no current threat to the community.

Earlier today, Sears School in Kenilworth went into restricted access when juveniles were spotted in the area carrying realistic-looking toy guns. The Winnetka Police Department responded and worked with the Kenilworth Police to investigate. More: ow.ly/qGpc50NByy8

This morning at 9:12, our police dispatch center received a call placed to a non-emergency line making a direct threat toward the safety of North Shore Country Day School. A preliminary investigation found there was no threat to the school. More here: ow.ly/CSAS50MXf13
