📌 Famous Arab Scholar: The Ummah is Ashʿarī 🎙 Shaykh Yūsuf al-Qaraḍāwī, Founder and President of the International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS) 📹 Watch how one of the most prominent Arab scholars of recent times explains that the majority of the Ummah has been Ashʿarī, even until now. 💭 The Salafī/Ahle-Hadith methodology is a new and recently created one. While it calls people towards the methodology of the Salaf, it itself is against the majority of the Ummah in most issues of ʿAqīdah as well as Fiqh. Naive and innocent people don't realize this because they have no broad knowledge on ʿAqīdah and Fiqh. When one really enters the field of ʿAqīdah and Fiqh and analyzes all the evidence present, one will easily realize how the Salafī/Ahle-Hadith methodology is against the opinion of the majority of the scholars since who have come in 1400 years! 🎞️ Credits: The Ḥanafī Fiqh Channel (YouTube) ⚡ Please Share, Make Aware, and Educate

Subhanallah, even the grand mufti of Syria is saying we should feel compassion for the innocent Iranians being killed. He also says that the majority aren't extremists and so we should pray for mercy for the dead.
فارس@Abaseenian

@wannabemuhadith @HarounKanj They're wrong in saying we shouldn't politically unite with the Shias. The Shias only play the unity card when it's convenient and so should we.

@Alghurabaaaaaa In early periods of Islam it was the norm to pray without carpet and with shoes on (a lost Sunnah that was relegated due to hadiths saying the shoe should not have dirt - making it hard - allow positive bidah like carpets)

Salafis come from earlier Sunni reform movements and scholars like Ibn Taymiyyah (13th–14th century). Wahhabism started in the 18th century with Muhammad Ibn Abdulwahhab in Arabia, about 200 years before the CIA and Mossad even existed. So unless the CIA and Mossad had time machines, that theory is just as dumb as your tweet.
Alexander Dugin@AGDugin

CIA and Mossad created Salafis and wahhabis to make the frightening image of totally sick and perverted Islam, dumb and aggressive, fully controlled by the West. Shia Islam is philosophical, elegant, dialectic, spiritual, sovereign. It has nothing to do with disgusting parody.

One of the clearest evidences of the frailty and weakness of the Madkhali ideology… Is the fact that cannot withstand wholesale refutations by laypeople, independent tulab and scholars, Despite multinational government budgets and support for manufacturing their narrative.

It is not permissible to refer, in matters of Islamic knowledge, to anyone except those who specialise and are qualified in it So Whether it’s your favorite journalist Or a popular social media personality Or a famous celebrity Whoever it may be It’s not for them to issue fatawa on Islam and it is not for us to go to them for fatawa To post reminders, sayings of the scholars, Hadith and Quran with sunnier and wisdom is praiseworthy But to speak on matters we aren’t qualified to speak on is blameworthy And to ask questions about islam, to those who aren’t qualified to speak on Islam, is also blameworthy

Scholars: Preferring Ali over Abu Bakr makes one a Rafida. Zayd b. Ali preferred Ali. Abu Hanifa said obligatory to support Zayd against Sunni ruler. Hence Halal to aid Rafidis/Iran.

Jzkl khairan, brother Abdul Rahman. So we both agree that shirk needs clarification. That’s exactly my point. The difference is you’re suggesting we take a hypothetical scenario and then we will be ‘forced’ to clarify what Shirk is. My proposal is the other way round: first discuss what shirk is as the main principle, under which several acts will fall. Once we understand the main concept, judgement of scenarios following that clear principle/definition will be easy. Also, the concept of ‘worship’ is concomitantly linked. Thus, it should be centred around worship and shirk. We should start by defining the main concepts and then move on to their derivative scenarios. It’s both logical and appropriate. My aim is to demonstrate consistency and coherence. I do not wish to restrict myself to one scenario.

This is a strange response. The whole point of @Farid_0v’s framing is precisely to force both sides to clarify what shirk is. Calling the scenario “unfruitful,” when it’s doing exactly what you’re asking for, is a rather odd way of avoiding the pressure of the question. If there’s a debate about whether a particular act counts as theft, that already requires both parties to bring out what theft is, what distinguishes it from other forms of wrongdoing, and why that case does or does not qualify. Simply pointing out that the question requires conceptual clarification adds very little, because giving that clarification is itself part of the answer.
Muhammad Yasir Al-Hanafi@YasirAlHanafi

What you are suggesting is a specific scenario. Without understanding what constitutes ‘Shirk’ and ‘worship’, discussing scenarios based on those concepts will not be fruitful. This is the same reason you focused only on a 50-second clip from over an hour and a half of discussion. I propose: let's clarify *what Shirk and worship mean*. Within that, we can explore as many scenarios as you like. After all, you are implying that I am defending Shirk. Therefore, it is only proper to first examine the integrals of Shirk and what is the precise *differentia* that distinguishes an act of Shirk from other acts, despite how egregious they may be. حكم الشيء فرع عن تصوره — a principal we all accept. By the way, I never suggested you had ‘Zionist motives’. If I appeared to suggest that, I unreservedly apologise. Let me know if you are happy with the proposed title. 👍🏻
