So after been a volunteer responder for the Ambulance service for the last 11 years, I had a new recruit (daughter) out with me tonight. Very strange feeling for both of us but she’s had her first job and she did amazing! @YASCFR @YorksAmbulance 🚑

Tomorrow marks the start of #VolunteersWeek. We are proud to be supported by almost 1,000 volunteers in various roles who have offered over 267,000 hours, supported over 64,000 patients and engaged with an estimated 3,200 people in our communities over the last year.

Defibrillator familiarisation session delivered earlier today at Harthill Village Hall for the local community. It was great to see how many attended and say they now feel more confident about doing CPR and using a defibrillator. @YorksAmbulance @yascfr #defibrillator #CPR
