All Muslim countries refused to recognize Bangladesh due to their relations with Pakistan. At that time, Israeli PM Golda Meir offered to recognize it, in exchange for Bangladesh recognizing Israel. However, Bangladesh leadership did not accept the offer and refused to get recognized by Israel, although it was globally isolated at that time.
