NEEDS RAISING. An awful decision from the @SussexCountyFA to Ban our player of 17 years old for 6 weeks from Playing or Refereeing due to failing to submit a Red card given in a juniors game. 6 WEEKS! And they wonder why there is such a lack of referees in Grassroots football!

@mikemccaffreyuk God knows what would be his fine or penalty for a second offence? Life ban? What is clear is that the FA is broken from bottom to top and back again. VAR doesn’t work but no penalty given to ‘top’ officials then a poor lad doing voluntary role is hammered is a joke. Blood boil !

@mikemccaffreyuk @wadhurstutdfc But yet refs who miss goals, clear red cards and fail to officiate in big games are let off. Penalise the easy fix rather than the bigger ones that actually impact games and league standings. Poor young official and I hope they are ok. Joke of a ban too. Max penalty! Joke.
