@_MissClick_ Yep, I loved the game at first. Although I also loved Battleborn, and nobody remembers that existed. It's a huge issue with Blizzard. They used to have great games. Now it seems like they just want flash in the pan temporary content just meant to grab player attention.

@JonDArsen I hate to say it but it wasn't a super popular model until a few years in. It had worked with some other games, but it wasn't the standard. He also goes to mention Overwatch League and the pressure that put on resources... Just overall greed and mismanagement. Sad.

@_MissClick_ To be honest, I get it. This is no way to make a game. But I also think those tactics are the only way these kind of live service games get made in the first place. These games are funded on being ruthless with their marketing tactics...

@bari_technical That's fine. I'm still personally not coming back to OW because of how it was handled, they knew they were omitting truths, and what it's become. Not for me is all. Tbh I never thought I would've fallen in love with the OG as much as I did back then. It truly was a special time.

@_MissClick_ But theyve acknowledged their mistakes and even dropped the two recently. Id go read a bunch of the director’s takes it really allows you to get into the headspace of Aaron and where he’s coming with all these decisions. Much like with Jeff he’s just doing his best to fight corp.

@bari_technical Nah the few gameplay additions are okay, but not worthy of a 2. The biggest and most consistent change they've made OW about has been paying 10+ dollars for FOMO skins and skin collabs. And this is coming from someone watching their spouse play top-ranked arena... Everyday lol
