There’s this girl I used to know, she’s so promiscuous that she slept with her twin sister bf. Slept with her Steph dad, sleeps with older men and a lot of things that she told me herself. I later found out that a friend of mine married her. This guy was one of the big boys in school then, and was perplexed when I saw their engagement. But I never mentioned it to anybody, didn’t even show face at their wedding, not because I was not happy for them but just so I don’t make the lady feel uncomfortable. Something’s are just best left unsaid. Let people live their life!!

POV: You're an average Nigerian in crypto. After dealing with multiple job disqualifications due to your country's infamous reputation, You finally get paid and decide to treat yourself to a meal, You hit a nice restaurant you've been eyeing, You make your choice from the menu, They serve you your meal, and it tastes better than you had imagined. You think, "What a solid way to reward myself". --- You've just finished your meal, and now it's time to pay. The waitress has been really nice, and you want to tip her for the good service. You immediately head to your favorite CEX and place a withdrawal request, You're a sabi boy, and of course, you know how to spot scammers from miles away, so you pull your moves and find a suitable agent. The waitress is now standing right in front of you, with an impatient expression starting to sneak onto her face. The agent sends his rate, and the transaction begins. You're starting to notice the uneasiness on the waitress's face, so you're frantically doing everything as fast as you can. The agent sends you a "Transaction Successful" receipt, and you've sent your crypto. You head to your bank app, but nothing's there. You refresh the page up to 10 times per second, hoping it's just a network issue. After waking up to reality, you head back to the CEX to complain to the agent. You drop text after text till you start dropping paragraphs longer than the ones you left your ex. And just like your ex, the agent didn't even read them. ---- 20 minutes in, and you finally collect the receipt from the waitress with a newfound humility. Your eyes dart to the total, and your heart drops. You return to the CEX to report the agent, and after submitting the report, you're asked to be patient while they resolve the issue. If only they knew. --- 30 more minutes go by, and you hear the restaurant owner yell out the waitress's name. The waitress angrily leaves you at your table with the receipt and empty plates, as she hurries to answer her angry boss. 2 minutes later, the restaurant owner's voice echoes, "Hello?! Young man. What is going on here?" You open your mouth to explain, but can't even find the right words to explain your predicament, so you just ask him to kindly hold on. --- About 3 hours pass, and you're currently washing the last pot in the restaurant's kitchen. You have successfully missed out on 2 important meetings and some delivery deadlines. The CEX notifies you that your report has been resolved and your funds have been released. --- I just narrated someone's story, and it could be you tomorrow, but it really doesn't have to be. You see... 🔻
