Congratulations to Joshua Marmolejo, who was named a winner of the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence this morning. Marmolejo, an Automotive teacher at Clint High School in Clint, TX, won $35,000 for his school’s program and $15,000 for himself. A total of $1.5 million has been awarded to 25 public high school skilled trades teachers and their programs across the United States. “Ultimately, what drives me is knowing that the skills I share with my students have lasting value. They not only gain technical proficiency but also develop problem-solving abilities and confidence, preparing them for successful futures in the trades or beyond,’’ Marmolejo said. Clean sweep in prelims of Class C caption awards for Clint ISD! 🎶 Mountain View HS & Clint HS tied for music at the 2025 SISD MarchFest competition. MVHS received a drum major award, while CHS received a visuals award. Both groups will be moving on to finals tonight. CHS performs at 5:30pm, MVHS performs at 5:45pm. Clint High School held its first annual tournament for the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) this past Saturday, Sept 20th. 🏹 This event was sponsored by Clint High School JROTC and teams participating were Ysleta HS, Riverside HS, and Bel Air HS. All of the teams had a great time competing and learning how to improve their archery skills. Clint Lions were proud to bring home 2nd place! 👏 #WeAreClintISD #ClintIsUnited4Excellence
