I've an essay in the latest issue of 𝑈𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝐵𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑦: 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐽𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝑃𝑠𝑦𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑐𝑘 𝐴𝑙𝑏𝑖𝑜𝑛. It's a partially autobiographical exploration of Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast books, their fascinations and flaws. temporalboundary.bigcartel.com/product/undefi…

@StufferSuitcase @thisisyourparty The working class has been shafted. (The Reform Party will do the same.) The middle class are realising they're next because, mostly, they're workers too. The name is intended to mobilise all workers against the rentier class exploiting them both.
English

@_oeith @thisisyourparty The proposed title and indeed the party itself won’t appeal to those who voted Leave and for Boris, was the point. It sounds more like the kind of thing middle class liberals think the working class “might like, bless them!”
English

We’re doing things differently.
That’s why we are asking you to give us your ideas for the party’s name.
Whatever it’s called, it’s always going to be your party.
Tell us what you think at yourparty.uk/ourname

English

@StufferSuitcase @thisisyourparty Yes, I have. Not sure what point you are making!
English

@_oeith @thisisyourparty You haven’t met many working class people, have you? 🙈
English

@WonPeople @thisisyourparty Wealth tax, nationalisation, anti-corruption, and a properly-funded NHS and welfare system are our causes. Anything there you don't like? No more "culture wars" nonsense.
English

@_oeith @thisisyourparty Not sure how vile antisemitism, middle class and student far left support for terrorist groups and Gaza will appeal to the working class.
The working class couldn’t be further away from your causes.

@agolaymonday @jeremycorbyn The policies you mentioned are what we've had for the past forty years. So, why are we not all rolling in wealth from all that tax we didn't pay? As the gap between the rich and poor widens, the argument that we just need to keep doing it harder becomes less credible.
English

@RevRichardColes Lots of elision, but still reads really well. Perhaps inevitably, to a modern ear, it sounds very like Milton, but that's no bad thing! archive.org/details/in.ern…
