If anyone thinks the democrat party has any credibility concerning affordability, how about you go back and watch all the videos and comments from the Dems on social media during Biden’s term…oh, wait…that didn’t happen. They gaslit us every single day about inflation…said we won’t see it after the 2+trillion they printed, then they said it was transitory. They did not care about affordability then because their guy was in charge. Every single thing went up back then and barely crept downwards when Trump started his 2nd term. Outside of gas increases due to the war, everything that’s still too expensive still goes back to Biden’s term. It is truly irritating to me as a Trump supporter when he says we don’t have an affordability problem. What he should say is that we are still trying to come out of the disastrous policies of Biden. I support Trump but he’s way out of touch in terms of how the economy is doing. The average American doesn’t give two shits nor can they afford to compete in the stock market so he really needs to stop using wall street as a measure of how we normal Americans are doing. It doesn’t help him at all to pretend it’s not real. It’s not a Democrat or Republican thing, we are all suffering and have been suffering since inflation began…which happened when Biden was in power. Mortgage rates, rental rates, health insurance, homeowners and auto insurance, groceries! I’m afraid I won’t be able to retire at 65, much less 67-68. I’m sick of both parties, they run for office, they create the problem, they then run again claiming they’re the ones who will fix it. I’m so fed up with both parties that I’ve actually considered making a move to another country. Where, I do not know yet.
