@ScottAdamsSays Lifelong, sexually exclusive, legally formalized marriage is only a few thousand years old. But long-term pair bonds to cooperatively raise kids are a few million years old in human evolution. We can make of that what we will.

The biggest illusion of 2022 is that if your marriage doesn't work it is because you picked the wrong person. It doesn't matter who you pick. Marriage is a pre-Internet, pre-equality system that no longer fits the modern world. I don't have a better idea.

@gmiller heritable, if you got hunter-gatherer heritage you are more egalitarian and value the truth, if you have more farmer heritage you are more authoritarian and family/community oriented

1. MBTI is basically astrology. Only kind of right. You can expect to see a basically even distribution of astrological signs across everything - GPA, big 5 personality test, jobs, cities - but information from all of these categories is predicted by MBTI type.

Everyone knows that MBTI is pseudoscience, barely better than astrology - with too-vague descriptions and "well most of these sorta fit me" personality descriptions. Well, you're only halfway right! Buckle up kids, I'm gonna take us on an overly-detailed steelman of MBTI.
