@tenkaishinka @edjgeek Yes, portals have additional cost, see here aws.amazon.com/api-gateway/pr… (search for "portals") Portals are front-gates to your API definitions, regardless what the downstream backend integration you're using.

@edjgeek Is there an additional cost for using portals? Also curious if this would still work if we have a backend integration with an ALB where the API is served?

@astuyve outside of security this is kind of a way to achieve sticky sessioning right? if you have something where the cold start is painful because you need to fetch a bunch of data this could improve that assuming they keep instances around longer like you said

NEW: Lambda launches tenant isolation mode, which isolates a function sandbox reuse to a specific tenant I don't expect many people to need this, but if you're in a controlled environment, want to cache sensitive data safely, or otherwise want to isolate tenant data – you can!
