@DStan58 @MaryleeMacD I can relate. I find that some suspenseful thrillers can be more about making suspense happen in the reader and not so much about the person who is making that feeling happened too. Hitchcock was an expert at this.

@authorJDMay @MaryleeMacD Don't really agree. In an awful lot of quality thrillers, the villain is morally ambiguous. It's a nice touch. Will they/won't they? Why did they then but not now?

@authorJDMay I had to start keeping a memo file on my phone because I'd get such good ideas right when I settled in to sleep. Otherwise it's any busybody activity: shower, dishes, or even just stepping g foot into the kitchen. That room is magical.
