Big fun evening at the @lustforlife1976 show at @O2RitzManc last night. The combo made a damn good fist of it and plainly I could watch Clem Burke drum unaccompanied all day long.

@thecloneroses I think you’ve found the right venue, that’s the hardest part? Actually, a double bass drum Perspex kit could be trickier.

@thomasforth Bought 3 new Bosch items when we moved in 2017. “Let’s invest in some good things for the forever house”. Within 2 years 2/3 of them had broken beyond economic repair, after catalogues of faults. Went back to a cheaper hoover washing machine, not a single problem since🤷🏼‍♂️

Our brand preference for Bosch is almost completely due to the "like a Bosch" adverts. Adverts which, of course, don't influence me.

There's a meme in innovation studies about how you reach the peak of a certain technology just before it becomes obsolete. The last mechanical calculators were amazing, the final steam trains, today's ICE cars. And using a new upper mid range Bosch dishwasher,... it feels over.

I can’t quite believe I’m writing this. We lost our incredible dad at 3.20pm today. The most thoughtful, kindest, caring human I’ve ever known. Always put me and my brother and sister first, never himself.
