I never understood why Viserys Targaryen didn’t accept Rhaenyra Targaryen’s proposal to marry Helaena Targaryen and Jacaerys Velaryon Like wouldn’t that have united both sides, shut down the rumors and avoided the whole Dance? Because the more I think about it, the less his decision makes sense

killing Jaehaera was genuinely one of grrms worst choices in f&b and im tired of pretending it wasn’t. she’s already a compelling character and would be even more so if she got to live. the only reason people don’t like her is her relation to Aegon but making the children of the rival factions marry and watching them navigate that marriage in peacetime would have been a great story.
