@KieranMaguire Some accounting software’s don’t deal with the IXBRL the best so doesn’t look as smooth on submission, might be a factor.

Why is it that some companies submit accounts to Companies House that are visible immediately and others take almost two weeks to become visible? If you send them in digitally then CH can process them and publish almost straight away. However, there is an alternative if you courier them by hand and deliver (often after working hours finish) and they have to be scanned in by hand…which takes much longer.

Fulham put out a (very) brief statement on their finances for 24/25 with a link to Companies House that shows the accounts have not yet been uploaded. Clubs taking this approach and posting the bare minimum on their website ensure they do not fall foul of PL rules, but still disappointing lack of completeness and transparency. Revenue up 7% to £195m Post tax losses up 33% to £44.5m

Just over half of the 92 clubs in top 4 divisions in England have published 2024/25 accounts. Only 4 are profitable: Liverpool, Bournemouth, Plymouth Argyle and Peterborough United. Average pre-tax losses: PL £31.1m, Championship £15.1m, League One £5.0m, League Two £2.6m.

The situation looks even worse at the operating level (excluding profit on player sales, interest and exceptional items), where not a single club has reported a profit. Average operating losses: Premier League £66.7m, Championship £25.5m, League One £6.2m, League Two £2.8m.

I get that Lampard and Coventry fans will back their player, but if Grimes did to them what he did to us, they would be as fuming

Companies House has put out a statement confirming that, for five months, every company in the UK was vulnerable to the simple exploit we identified on Friday. It enabled anyone in the world to view and change their company details.

On Friday we revealed the Companies House vulnerability letting anyone access the private dashboard of any UK company. This is the moment I first saw it demonstrated. My reaction says it all. What do we know? What don't we know? What should companies do now?
