Single’s Inferno 5 is honestly one of the most exciting seasons ever… UNTIL Netflix decided to rush and mess up the last 2 episodes 😭
The editing felt cut, compressed, and lowkey chaotic. They should’ve extended it — we were READY to wait and watch. This season had so much depth and storyline build-up that it deserved a better wrap-up.
But let’s not ignore the fact that the cast CARRIED.
Min Gee? Tomboy alpha queen.
Mina Sue? The real drama, and I mean REAL, not scripted.
Go Eun? Charm + mystery combo.
Heesun? Had us loyal to one pick then casually dropped her degree and achievements like a plot twist.
Joo Young collecting green flags like Pokémon.
Haeun and Yejin? Visuals on another level.
And the men???
JAE JIN SUPREMACY. Period.
Seungil — mature but baby-coded.
Sungmin and his non-stop chatter.
Hyeonwoo strong but still learning the ropes.
Hyun Jae calm king.
Subeen’s rollercoaster arc.
Samuel and his JOBS + loyalty??? Rare species.
And I Geon??? That presence??? The stare??? The heat level went up immediately.
Despite the rushed ending, this season gave us new personalities, real tension, unexpected arcs, and iconic moments.
Overall? I loved it.
Just wish the final 2 episodes were edited with the same care as the rest.
