I am equally very interested in how they play this. Fast growth in banking is a double edged sword, genuinely curious to see which route they go and what kind of risks they take as a bank.

Just in - @ereborbank posted their 1st call report. In 7 weeks since opening, they've already hit $1.1 billion in deposits. unprecedented growth for a de novo (or fintech) For comparison - Grasshopper Bank (also a tech-focused NYC de novo) took 7 years to reach the same number, and only got there via acquisition - Square Financial Services, even with Block's enormous merchant base, sits at $495M after 5 years. - Mercury took 4 years - Chime took 6 At $1 billion this makes them ~1,000th largest bank in America (out of ~4,500). If they want to be a top 100 bank, thats ~$20 billion of deposits. 5% of the way there in 7 weeks. Next up...what do they do with those deposits? Will be watching how loans ramp from here!

@mike_darrow @higgsfield I will say the quality they’re achieving is closer to a massive Hollywood blockbuster by Michael bay not a life time movie 😅 but I agree we have a long way to go still. Eventually anyone can turn their ideas to life for less than 100$ in a weekend which will be amazing for art

Lets put this into perspective... 1. They are going to Cannes, anyone can go, they are not in the film festival. 2. 10m credits equals 400k in American dollars. We make a Lifetime movie for around the same price without AI. (for now) 3. We shoot our Lifetime movies in 14 days and finish post in a month. They have the advantage in this regard. 4. Chuck Russel is a great filmmaker, but he is a Boomer and Boomers couldn't tell an AI generated film from anything else. 5. This is a Flex from this company that Flex's all the time and has even been banned for it. 6. With all this in mind, it's really great to see a company like @higgsfield going for it. Art is always pushed by artists, Hate them or not, they are making art and creating tools that will shape cinema forever. Good work!

I’ve been stress testing the capabilities of what Seedance can do especially in the hybrid space. As a filmmaker I love being on set and working with actors. AI can’t replicate the happy accidents you create while filming. While it’s not perfect I can see how smaller indie films can start utilizing this motion transfer technique to tell more grand stories. Let me know what you think. AI is trained on humans spewing out content - most of it is slop and by the lowest IQ. Some high quality data from experts etc. It makes sense that an AI much smarter than the average human could produce synthetic data that’s higher quality than Reddit slop. Synthetic wins
