@colin_gladman That's great advice, though it probably looks like this for me, I'm afraid: - absolutely emotional - I don't have a fucking plan - probably riding this thing to absurd heights and back to $10 🫠

Regardless of what your opinions of the celebrities getting into $AMC and $GME are, the more eyes the better as far as I’m concerned. You want everyone talking about it for maximum FOMO. Especially if price is well above your cost basis. Just 👇 -Don’t be exit liquidity. -Zero emotions. -Have a plan.

@Eweather13 Nooooooo we are having our block party on Saturday in RI. Such a bummer. We have a new band coming this year. Any chance this completely misses?

@d_lamle Start a routine at about 1 month. Pick the times for naps and stick to them. I knew with both kids that 9-11 and 1:30 -3:30 they were napping. There were few meltdowns bc we were at the mall at a random time and they were tired. They thrive on routine.

@jason_howerton My 12 year old was just like this. He slept with us until about 9 ish. It was what he needed. He is in his own bed and sleeps confidently. He is not scared of anything. I was like this as well when I was young and my parents forced me to sleep in my own room and it was very hard.

My oldest son is REALLY struggling with sleep. He’s about to be 6. It’s just fear and anxiety about being alone in his room. Taking its toll on all of us. Any tips from parents who have been there?

Today, we welcomed our first puppy into our family. He is a Red Fox Labrador named Eugene Jeans, and he is adorable. He had a bit of a rough time on his first car ride, though. He threw up on my wife and made a mess on our white carpet with his diarrhea. But we don't mind, we love him so much. ❤

Good morning! We picked up this little sweetheart this morning. She still doesn’t have a name. We’ve narrowed it down to 3 possibilities: 1. Lily 2. Stella 3. Belle Which name should we pick?

@webberweather I love pretending to understand the dynamics of latent heat distributions effect on downstream flow pattern as it relates to projection models.

My2 cents on what I've been seeing w/ Hurricane #Lee's track over the past day or two: We're starting to reach that part of the forecast w/ Hurricane #Lee where how your weather/NWP model fluxes, redistributes, and advects latent heat release matters as much, if not more than "externally forced" tweaks in the synoptic-scale flow pattern. These sort of details really matter for New England & Atlantic Canada. I do worry in this kind of situation that many NWP models (esp the GEFS/GFS) are underestimating #Lee's latent heating contribution to slowing/amplifying the downstream flow pattern & this may lead to a rightward/fast track bias ~ 3-5 days from now (all things considered). A big, slow-moving, and strong hurricane (in a warming world no less where more water vapor is available to be fluxed around) is unfortunately a great recipe for these kind of model-related convective/latent heat flux biases/shortcomings to potentially arise

@bobbitt2007 @Eweather13 Yeah okay. All he does is nail facts. He is so accurate it’s scary. Everything he outlines in his morning update happens. I would not challenge him at all. So rude to say he wants fantasy. Pisses me off. And you are????

For those who say posting the 12z Euro is hyping… Disagree. It’s all in the messaging. It brings credence to the zone I’ve had at a 20% risk probability with zero model support (based solely on pattern recognition) until now. Most hurricanes that have hit New England have had a similar look at 500mb to what’s forecasted. Funny how it’s only hype when it shows a US hit but not the repeated hits into Nova Scotia all week. Yes that’s an extreme option and while not most likely, it is possible. If I had a house on Cape Cod I’d be walking around this weekend to start thinking about what may need to come in or be tied down. I’d think about a hurricane plan. I’d think about evacuation routes. Everyone should always have those things in mind - most do not. There’s been absolutely no fear mongorong…it’s all about highlighting the potential risks...informing folks not to panic…and explaining the timeline for having more forecast confidence. And back to that 20% risk area for eastern SNE…16% of the 12z Euro ensembles now show a New England hit…pretty close to that 20% I’ve been highlighting…and a decent move west from the previous EPS run. It’s the Euro. It’s a good model. And for folks who remember, it was the Euro who called out the left turn into NJ with Sandy well ahead of all the other models. It was alone. Rant over. 😆

P.S. if you want to drop pictures of pets, that's also 💯 helpful at this time. There's never a bad time to send dog photos. Ever. I don't make the rules 🤷

Friends, we got sime hard news last night. It appears (but who really knows?) I am in the endgame of my treatment. 6mo-1yr is the prognosis, though let's be real: I blew past the 1-3 yr mark when I hit 7 1l2 years in June. So. You know, there's no research or textbook for this.

Well I’ve been moved from A&E to a side ward where I have to wait for a bed in MAU. I’m on a trolley at least so I might be able to get a bit of sleep. I’m still in pain but I have hope that they will get on top of it soon. Mr M rang me earlier and I told him they were keeping
