This was crazy, but nothing yet compared to what happened next… I was part of a Discord community and really believed in the project. So I wanted to get their Discord roles so badly. I kept grinding, but to no avail. Then someone in the community said he had a connection with the project’s mod and could get me in. He was asking for just a few dollars. I had the money and was quite desperate to get the role… meanwhile, the guy had roles and was close to the mods like he said, so it seemed legit. But because I’m naturally someone who doesn’t get things by cheating or doing anything shady—I said no. I just told the guy I’d grind for it. Long story short, the project apparently didn’t reward their community. I later got the role just by working hard—without paying a dime. The guy who wanted me to pay to get roles stacked all the roles and got nothing at the end of the day 😂 In simple words, the project later GBA. Now, why am I sharing this? Well, I’m just trying to learn to write better because apparently, the course I’m taking says to write every day to get better 🫠 Another reason is this: whatever you’re doing right now, regardless of the difficulties—whether it’s a job, relationship, or anything—and someone is offering you the easy way out, and you know it’s not the right path… don’t do it! Let your integrity stand. Be known for it. Don’t change for anyone or anything. ❤️
