@betwiththebooks @Ssplash2k @MLFootball Was a one high look, safety was taken out of the play by another route. He definitely had room to throw that out towards the middle of the end zone.

@bs2_8 @Ssplash2k @MLFootball It was thrown in front of him, as he broke off the route. The only throw that could beat him would have been if he lead him towards the back of end zone or lateral but I don’t know where safeties were on that play. But it looks like it was meant to be a timing pattern.

@bs2_8 @Ssplash2k @MLFootball You should know then that great DBs like Gonzo give cushion because they trust their closing speed. He had JSN measured the entire time. Same way he had the Shaheed play measured. You get burned always trying to run hip to hip. The great ones bait the QB into thinking he’s open.

If that ball is thrown in front of JSN it’s a touchdown.

@bs2_8 @Ssplash2k @MLFootball I played too in college so you’re not teaching them right. Darnold threw to where JSN was breaking off his route and Gonzalez jumped in. Only way he would have gotten beat was by a perfect throw, but it wasn’t a bad throw by any means
