@MarkGoacher The original plan (less parking, more pavement) was better. The new crossing will be better than what's there. Not as good, but easier, than a longer, wider subway.

Do you agree with the changes to Crouch Street (revised) that Essex Highways are proposing?

@Pere_Duchesne There's a Martin Lewis video knocking around going through this bit of it. If Europe prices track wholesale shorter term and they had bigger subsidies when it was at worst, that'd explain most of it. Also UK has less gas storage.

@Pere_Duchesne Not sure about a comparison to rest of Europe but the price cap is based on the past six months of prices, so even the April one is going to be based on mostly when they were at their highest.
