NEW: Gavin Newsom’s wife has meltdown over how President Trump treated Norah O'Donnell during the 60 Minutes interview. “My family and I watched the 60 Minutes interview with Donald Trump and Norah O’Donnell last night, and we were shocked. Seeing a president speak to a woman journalist with that level of contempt — and a clear allergy to facts — is disturbing, though at this point not unexpected given his pattern of behavior…” she said. “It’s no wonder we have a culture that normalizes dominance and aggression toward women and girls, which not only silences them but also leads to internalized misogyny in others.” Lmao.

From April 27 to 30, thousands of advocates, leaders and movements will gather in Narrm (Melbourne), Australia, for the @WomenDeliver 2026 Conference (#WD2026). We’re looking forward to being part of the moment and will have a booth presence at the conference! If you’ll be there, we’d love for you to stop by booth G2. With comfortable seating and device charging available for all, it’s a space to pause, connect and exchange ideas with partners and colleagues across (and beyond) the sector. Heading to WD2026? We've seen this before Ontario. Under Premiers Harris and Eves we cut beds and staff. The resultant hallway medicine disaster lives on today, and is expanding under Premier Ford. Let it be said the public was aware and healthcare workers spoke out. cbc.ca/news/canada/to…

This dad was celebrating his birthday and he wasn’t expecting what would come next. After long deployments overseas, his two sons surprised him. He was stunned, and his tearful hug said it all. 🥹 Welcome home gentlemen! Two heroes giving their dad the best birthday present he could ever imagine. Could you get a better birthday wish come true than to have your two sons, both serving our country abroad , make it back home safely? ❤️

This is a serious threat facing Ontario. Hospital cuts, 70% of hospitals in deficit, and more than $1 billion in underfunding. Many ERs are increasing hallway medicine. Rather than a $29 million jet we could hire 300 RNs for a year, not cut them. ctvnews.ca/toronto/politi…

I hear “nurse, nurse, nurse” and I can’t stop, I’m already drowning. I see their faces, then my own, carrying guilt that isn’t mine. Doug Ford and this government lie & hide the truth. I’m left on the front line with angry, suffering people with no end in sight @MarkJCarney

To be clear, I don’t care if the Premier thinks I’m wanted or not. What matters to me is him being held accountable. So I thought I would reshare my question to you all. If you have nothing to hide, why are you working so darn hard to be invisible?

#BREAKING: Doug Ford was in such a rush to hide his phone records that his Freedom of Information changes quietly received royal assent this morning, on a Friday, with the Legislature not even sitting. I have sent urgent letters to: 1. The Secretary of Cabinet 2. The RCMP 3. Ontario's Information and Privacy Commissioner Each is being asked to act immediately to safeguard evidence related to the Greenbelt scandal before this government can destroy it. As Premier, I will reverse these changes and restore transparency, trust, and faith in our democracy.

#BREAKING: Democracy dies in darkness. Doug Ford just passed a law to hide his phone records and 40 years of public records. Honest governments don't change the law to protect them from the truth. As Premier, I will roll back these changes and restore transparency, trust, and faith in our democracy.

Liberal MPP Stephanie Smyth, a former CP24 anchor, said Premier Ford owes her an apology for personally insulting her in the legislature today saying she was only there because the network didn’t want her. She says it’s beneath the office, “not to mention Trumpian.” #onpoli

#BREAKING: The Ford government just scheduled late-night sittings – until midnight – to ram through FOI changes. Just when you thought this government couldn’t get any worse, they’re now scheduling late night sittings to quietly change the rules, hoping to keep Ontarians in the dark.
Ontario NDP@OntarioNDP

Doug Ford uses his phone for government business. The courts ordered him to release his phone records – so now he’s changing the law so he never has to. What is Doug Ford hiding?
