Just weeks into the first term of her first year, Aliya was admitted to hospital with sepsis and feared her university journey was over before it had begun. This week, she graduated with first-class honours and received the Vice-Chancellor’s Commendation Award 🎓

From Keele to Formula 1 🏎️ As the FIA's Chief Medical Officer for Formula 1, honorary graduate Dr Ian Roberts has helped shape safety in motorsport and has been at the forefront of medical response at more than 250 Grands Prix.
