I live in Dubai and decided to switch to Starlink instead of local providers and here's why: A few years ago the internet in Dubai started working much worse than ever before, I don't know what happened but I was tired of the slow internet. I thought maybe I had a weak tariff. I went to Etisalad and connected the most powerful internet and now it's been 7 months, but my agony has not stopped. First of all, they installed some kind of home phone, why? I didn't ask for it, but I got it with my maximum tariff! Secondly, the Internet often disconnects itself, about 3 times a week, and thirdly, now I can not give up this Internet because I was put on a contract! I need uninterrupted and the fastest possible internet for my work! That's a base minimum of 2026. Hopefully I won't have any problems with Starlink. I know some people from the government are subscribed to me, and I would like to point out that this is not a hatred towards the internet in Dubai, this is constructive criticism, this is a full-fledged review! People need to be given freedom, not confined. I will never use the services of Etisalat (Du) again

On Apr 1, Vimal Prajapati brought dosa batter from a nearby dairy. His wife Bhavna cooked it, and they, along with their daughters Raha (3 months) and Mishri (4 years), ate it. Soon after, all four fell ill and were hospitalized. The daughters died; the parents survived. Police acted swiftly, registered a case, and took dairy samples. The dairy owner claimed innocence, saying hundreds buy batter daily, how could only one family be affected? That raised a logical point. Another issue that bothered the police was: who feeds dosa to a 3-month-old child? At that age, the child should be fed only breast milk. So police probed keeping all angles in mind. Investigation revealed that Bhavna maintained a diary in which she had written about her deep desire to have a son and had vowed to visit a temple if her wish was fulfilled. Next, toxicology reports found aluminium phosphide in the blood of victims. Police then found that Vimal had bought 10 packets of Sulphas (Celphos), a fumigant containing aluminium phosphide. He had used eight to preserve wheat but could not account for the remaining two packets. So, the probe so far suggests the likelihood of parent(s) poisoning their daughters and consuming a smaller quantity themselves so that they would survive, in a desire to have a son. If true, how heartless do you have to be to kill your own children like this?

In Telugu relatives are often called "Raabandhuvulu" mockingly. Basically "Bandhuvulu" means relatives, "Raabandhu" means vulture. So Raabandhuvulu in a sense likening relatives to vultures. Relatives mostly happen to be self centered which is ok, but also utterly petty and insecure. They take some perverse delight in seeing you down, but can't stand it if you are doing better. They are the ones who will complain to your parents about how you are going astray, but will never support you when needed. In fact they will spread even worse canards about you. Every family function they won't leave any chance to show off how their kids are doing better than you. My father was often looked down upon by his relatives because he was not as rich as some of em. They often ignored him, pulled him down. Today when he is no more, the same ones keep calling me, saying how we are all a family, we should bond together. I resisted the temptation of telling "Fuck you" right on their faces so many times, just listen and hang up.
