Brits receiving unemployment and disability benefits should report to Army operated field hospitals for evaluation. Those found fit and suitable should be immediately drafted into military service. The rest found not to be genuinely disabled to be organised for public works. Litter picking, cleaning and manning call centres to speed response times in the public sector. Just as FDR created the "New Deal" to fight the great depression. The UK should be harnessing all available manpower. Not paying people to sit on their sofa.
