@jzkelter @whatishealth21 it's a mistake to drop the negative feedback as in allostasis. But that's largely because the properties of a control hierarchy were not known to those studying conventional engineering control theory

Sure you can screen them, triage them, scan them, inject them, rub them, reassure them, tape them, operate on them, shockwave them, advise them. But eventually someone needs to rehabilitate them. If it’s not going to be you then you’d better have a plan.

Had a medical student ask me what is the hardest part about being a first Gen… and tbh, it’s the loneliness that comes with the constant pursuit of higher education. Achieving important milestones, alone. Family and friends support, but they don’t really understand.
