Look! 👀 Here it is! 👀 Our Line Management schedule - using @MrARobbins Middle Leadership Mastery. The first column is our leaders are readers section. Every LM starts with this because we’re committed to developing our leaders. The second section is running the team. We link this to our calendar so as not to miss any operational events. The third column is about strengthening the team the HoD leads. You’ll notice we schedule joint drop-ins because we expect the Line Manager to know the team well - led by the HoD (the expert). The HoD has access to the whole year’s LM schedule at the start of the year; they can add anything and prepare ahead of the meeting. 🆓 Please feel free to download and edit. The running has restated after about 3 years. CouchTo5K wk 2 complete today. All prep for a 10k in June with my niece raising money for @CR_UK in memory of my sister. @abbeykpsych It's always hard inheriting a group. And sixth form teaching always feels harder in my experience as the pressure is greater. Always happy to talk things through if it ever helps.

@ckbateman Thanks for the advice Chris. I will admit I think I’m being harsh on myself because I’ve inherited a group this year as their teacher from Y12 left so that’s never an easy feat as they’re so used to the teaching style of another. I’ll get there 😊

I feel like I’ve been such a 💩 teacher recently. Keep making mistakes and slipping up. I know it’s only human but I just feel so perceived and I’m really struggling with that, especially having ADHD which automatically makes me hate being perceived even more.

First term in my new school. ✅️ First term back in pastoral. ✅️ First term balancing the #BestJobInTheWorld with the #RealBestJobInTheWorld. ✅️ Balancing work and life has never been as important as it has this term and the next week will be bliss

Where did that month go?

Just finished my final bits of handover for @Manor_School @NeneEducation, sent a final message to our leadership team and signed out of my account on all devices. End of an era. Now to spend the rest of this weekend with my incredible family before a new journey begins Monday.
