wrote a new post, the gentle singularity. realized it may be the last one like this i write with no AI help at all. (proud to have written "From a relativistic perspective, the singularity happens bit by bit, and the merge happens slowly" the old-fashioned way)

@conorwebdev @gmiller @sama i know the approach is dumb but its the best ive got. being reigned by a forever emperor is also horrible but its better than dying. all in all humanity is pretty screwed here, best case scenario is a giant solar flare so people in alignment have longer to solve the problem

Democracy means absolutely nothing if people don't get to vote on whether we want this 'Singularity' -- which probably leads straight to human extinction. Do you support running a global referendum on whether we allow you guys to persist in trying to summon these superintelligent demons in the hope that they'll play nice with us, and destroy our current civilization 'gently'?

Junior devs are so soft those days... Learning React and getting PTSD.... My friend, spend a month learning C or C++ and get back to me with that, "JavaScript is soooo hard 😭"
