please do NOT aim for more than 10k steps a day. i know it seems like an ‘easy quick fix’ but i’m telling you, your body is NOT made to endure this much stress on a daily basis. you will hurt your joints and cause lasting, painful damage. DO NOT DO EXTREME THINGS TO YOUR BODY

10k steps a day is literally the absolute minimum for activity.
The MINIMUM.
it's what you should be doing just existing, activity after this is where improvements exist.

This is not true humans basically have the best stamina out of every animal. We have evolved to walk for long term distances. You shouldn't go from 1k steps a day to 15k and you shouldn't slowly work up, but our bodies are absolutely made to endure the stress of 10k
