@anita_psychic @f1fantraveltv 38-39 secs - something from beneath the helicopter collides with the helicopter and then falls to the ground. The helicopter instantly starts it's spinning and decent.

@whiteroserachel The so-called professional claims that the pilot safely steered the helicopter into a place of safe landing is talking out of his proverbial. If that was the case, why didn't he steer it on to the pitch??

@f1fantraveltv If you pause the video on 37 seconds and then play it, you will see something rapidly move upwards from bottom right of the helicopter. It makes contact with the helicopter and falls to the ground.

@WillGrace96 Correction...police have said it was not one of THEIR drones. There is now sufficient evidence which shows a small object colliding with the helicopter.

@LAANCConnected What about BT Sports? Have they denied having a drone above the stadium for the live game?

@whiteroserachel It was a game featured live on TV. TV companies often use drones hovering above stadiums on live games and police use drones to monitor crowds leaving the stadium. The police have confirmed their drone was not in the air at the time of the incident.

@corruptionuk Hi, it's in the sixth paragraph. 'A BT spokesman said: "There were no BT Sport drones at the match."'

@corruptionuk @BrackleyPippa @leicspolice Like with my previous comment no pilot is stupid enough to fly near any aircraft and a drone would get chewed up and spat out my the tail rotor of a helicopter any day of the week, it was an engine malfunction it can happen at any time no matter how many checks are done

We understand there is a considerable amount of public & media interest into the helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium. As soon as we can confirm further details, we will do so. Please be patient, understanding & resist speculating on the detail & circumstances.

@swedechef @leicslive The BT Sport show was still being aired at the time the helicopter went up in the air. Often TV companies still have drones in the air when they cut to a commercial break.

@mattykeenan @BrackleyPippa @leicspolice TV companies hovver their drone high above the centre circle..the helicopter took off vertical from the centre circle. Police have denied their drone was involved. Need I say more.

@corruptionuk @BrackleyPippa @leicspolice No drone pilot is stupid enough to get close to any aircraft especially a police drone pilot he would of landed the drone to bring the drone very close to the ground to stay out of the way

Police have stated today that the Leicester helicopter accident wasn't caused by one of their drones...make of that what you will. #RestinPeaceALL #LFCFamily

@MobilePunch They have just said that it wasn't caused by a police drone...doesn't mean it wasn't caused by someone else's drone.

@mattykeenan @BrackleyPippa @leicspolice Drones are getting bigger...some have in excess of a 6ft wingspan. If that collided with the tail rotor then it is possible it could have caused the accident. That is only conjecture though..

@BrackleyPippa @leicspolice Even with a drone in flight it wouldn’t mess with the helicopter in anyway possible the police run there drones on a lower band than anybody so it can’t be interfered with, so it would have no effect with the helicopter going in to a flat spin

@luciemorrismarr @CNN Sorry but I have seen the CCTV footage. The pilot would have had little chance of doing anything. The flight recorder has been recovered so we will know more once it has been thoroughly examined. Rest in peace to all those onboard.
