ER like here’s a devasting episode about our long time main character accepting his mortality and making peace with his incoming death followed immediately by a tie-in episode with the john wells helmed NYPD drama

i think something that’s so great about the writing on ER is how they wrote complicated, unlikable characters and stood by them and allowed them to have layers and good aspects. like dr romano would be run off tv nowadays but he’s such a rich text
