Maybe gone for Social Studies or something and get the first class.
But all the same by 300/400 Level,I was more mature at I8/I9 and was getting A's in Advanced courses, my cognitive aptitude is so high rn ,I can compete with many first class grads.

I attended Gtbank training school as a pure Chemistry Graduate and it was intense!!! I finished with a 2’2 too. It was tough and I did pretty well in training school and even during my time at the bank.
Training school experience is something I feel every fresh grad should have.

Many years ago, in GTBank training school. We were 40 in my cohort – a mix of First Class, 2:1, and 2:2 graduates from Nigerian and foreign universities. Everyone that knows Banking knows how intense and competitive GTbank training school is. 4 months of rigorous training and examinations. At the end, the valedictorian – the best among us was not a First Class graduate or 2:1. She was a 2:2 graduate from OAU. She scored over 90% btw.

In 100L I had 90s in more than half my courses even had the highest maths score in 2 of my maths courses and a 90 in chemistry had perfect gpa
300L- had 3 Fs( 4 units) not a single A

43/100 coming in Mathematics.
Studied Economics.
I failed 100 level mathematics for Economics twice
By 400 level I was getting A's in courses like Advanced Microeconomics.

Stanford CS graduating class of 2026 just got their final placement statistics
Out of 312 graduates: 18 have full-time offers
That's a 5.8% placement rate from the most prestigious CS program in the fucking world
2019 placement rate was 94%. 2022 was 78%. 2024 was 31%. Now this.
The other 294 are fighting over 47 internships that require "3+ years production experience"
Career services is telling them to "consider adjacent fields" while the department just took a $50M donation from a company that replaced 2,400 engineers with Claude
