The xx played their first show in eight years last Friday at Mexico City's Pepsi Center WTC, the first of three nights in the city. Romy, Jamie xx, and Oliver Sim performed 19 songs drawn from all three of their studio albums, opening with "Crystalised" and closing with "Infinity." The encore included the first-ever live performance of "Seasons Run." They also played solo material throughout the show, including Romy's "Enjoy Your Life," Oliver Sim's "GMT," and several Jamie xx tracks including "Loud Places" and his Gil Scott-Heron collaboration "I'll Take Care of U." No new album has been officially announced, though the band has been in the studio since 2023.
