I think that the US withdrawing from NATO is a good idea while the US is governed by a Russian agent Later, when the US is run again by a government not beholden to Russia, they may want to rejoin NATO and at that point I'm sure they will be welcome

🇺🇸 Karoline Leavitt: The President has discussed it {the possibility of withdrawing from NATO} and will be discussing in a couple of hours with Secretary General Rutte. You may hear more directly from him. I’m not a US law expert, but doesn’t leaving NATO require either a 2/3 Senate vote or an act of Congress, not just one person’s decision?

@gaygaimer @Hippoly23534930 @McFaul Nobody goes to war if they obviously knew it won't work out, but we have allies called NATO at least they could have responded rather than ignore

@danielaatomica @Hippoly23534930 @McFaul Cause the decision was obviously dulb and we were not in the case of a NATO scenario. Why going into a war when its obvious its not goint to work as "planned". + a Trump plan... lets be honest, its for a good reason than no one followed.

Trump threatened to invade Greenland, ended military support for Ukraine, leaving that burden of European defense against Russia entirely on NATO, and irrationally levied tariffs against our allies (but not on Russia), and then is disappointed when some allies didn't come to our aid in the war in Iran, even though we didn't need them (his words not mine). Illogical. Time for pragmatic leaders in the entire alliance to get back on track. This race to the bottom serves no country's interest.

For the billionth time, I’m convinced that the Kremlin has two main allies in the world: 1.Corruption 2.The bottomless depths of human foolishness.

@danielaatomica @McFaul NATO is a DEFENSIVE alliance, and Trump knows this perfectly well. Moreover, he has never invoked Article 5, which triggers aid from allies. For a simple reason: His wars are illegal wars of aggression.

Almost all "Anti-Religion" people are actually Anti-Christian, they just don't want to admit it. it doesn't take a genius level intellect to understand there's more religions that just Christianity, but 9 out of 10 times these Anti-Religion people specifically only criticize Christianity, no Hinduism criticism (which promotes a literal caste system in some instances, not all to be fair), no Islam criticism (which is borderline antithetical to women's rights), etc. if they were actually against religion, they would critique all of them and not just one, but they don't want the flack they'd get for labeling themselves "Anti-Christian" so they don't.and 10 outta 10 times they don't even understand the one religion they do critique; they take bible quotes completely out of context, assuming they've ever even read the damned thing, and usually their hatred is motivated by unresolved religious trauma they need to go to therapy for but never did so they take it out on some old lady that's just praying for her grandson to get
