In a major crackdown, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police have taken action against shops selling counterfeit products of the well-known brand Puma. A few days ago, the crime branch had raided a shop named Vicky Footwear in Pimpri-Chinchwad for selling fake Puma shoes and slippers. Continuing the action, the Crime Branch Unit 1 conducted another raid at a shop called Legends Choice in Pimpri Market on Monday. During the operation, police seized fake Puma T-shirts and track pants worth approximately ₹8,06,184. The action was taken based on a complaint filed by representatives of the Puma company. Following the raid, Pimpri Police have registered a case against Ismail Istikhar Khan (31) at the Pimpri Police Station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Copyright Act. Further investigation into the case is underway. #PimpriChinchwad #PuneCrime #FakeProducts #Puma #PoliceAction
