@RosserJobs Meetings are a waste mostly. If I need something, I’ll call. Or I send an email (there’s truth in the joke “this meeting could’ve been an email”). And, and no PPT. If you must, a list of bullets, but that’s it. Focus on what’s important - make decisions and let ppl work.
@Slipkid72@RosserJobs 👋🏻 20+years at a Fortune 50 company. Managed and participated multiple large hiring events.
If people have to lead with questions about benefits and time off, that tells me I didn’t do a good job of outline the position and selling why this candidate should work w me.
@RosserJobs I’m sorry, but are hiring managers really so fragile that a candidate asking about benefits is a red flag? The interview is to help the company determine if they are going to get max value from the candidate, right? We should we expect less from the candidate? This isn’t 2004.
Not racing, but driving related. On the way in to @IMS this morning I was thinking of what is the best driving song ever? Radar Love by @4GoldenEarring is near the top for me. Any other suggestions? Let’s hear them.
Does anyone else remember that time a Super Bowl contender had a receiver with a celebrity significant other? It didn’t end well for that team. #notbitter#holdontothedamnball
Listening to a podcast talking about the Twitter pissing match some IN R-gov candidates got into a short while ago. It was about who was more pro-Trump? Critically, stating they could take the time instead to show who they are instead of this.
I think they did exactly that.
