Had quadruple bypass heart surgery Thurs., July 11. It’s been an honor to be a patient at the University of Minnesota Hospital. These people are amazing. Dr. John performed the surgery and all the support staff have been tremendous. The people here are amazing.

He rotated to 3rd out of experience of seeing baseball players play baseball. There is no way, in his memory bank, that there will be a play at home on a direct throw.

@MikePilbean @Super70sSports The 3B umpire went “out” with the ball hit to the wall in LF. The plate umpire is supposed to rotate to cover 3B and the 1B umpire rotates to cover home. Simple 4-man umpire mechanics.

@MikePilbean @Super70sSports The home plate umpire did it correctly. The guy who screwed up was the 1B umpire. He is supposed to rotate home. Crazy that they got the call correct.

@Super70sSports What stands out to me on this play is home plate umpire anticipating the action & abandoning his post behind the plate. There's no way there will be a play here. It's not humanly possible.
