@samhogan Cursor came back with browser, design mode, PR review, and git hosting while everyone was debating which AI writes better code, Cursor quietly became the entire development environment 🔥

I switched back to Cursor last week after using Codex for 6 months. A few thoughts: - the agent is great. on par with CC & Codex. - inapp browser + design mode is easily the best front-end dev experience - inline PR review is awesome. super excited for their github alternative

The most dangerous phrase in software engineering: ‘It works on my machine’ Second most dangerous: ‘We’ll fix it after launch’ Third most dangerous: ‘The tests are passing’ 💀 #SoftwareEngineering #DevLife #Testing

@mxtaverse The jobs disappearing first are the ones AI can fully simulate—frontend, design, QA all have clear inputs and measurable outputs, which makes them automatable. The ones surviving longest require judgment nobody can write a test case for 💀🔥

People are losing jobs left and right. Esp front end, designers and QA. Scary situation.

@falconerd Every abstraction ever invented was solving someone else’s problem at a scale you probably don’t have yet. Data in, transform, data out is the truth they buried under 400 pages of design patterns 💀🔥

Programming isn't hard. They made it hard. They taught you to care about class hierarchies, design patterns, and philosophical concepts that have zero overlap with the code required to solve the problem. Look at what a program actually does. Data comes in. You transform it. Data goes out. That's it. That's the entire job. Everything else is optional. And most of it is wrong.

FAANG is dead. Meet MANGOS 🥭 Meta — open source AI, Llama, $900B market cap Anthropic — safety-first AI, Claude, $965B valuation Nvidia — the picks and shovels of the AI gold rush Google — search + Gemini + TPUs + DeepMind OpenAI — ChatGPT, 1B users, GPT-5.5 SpaceX — rockets, Starlink, Cursor ($60B acquisition) The next decade of tech isn’t built by software companies. It’s built by AI infrastructure companies 🔥 #MANGOS #AI #Tech #FutureOfTech

Senior dev interview question: ‘Our service crashes every Tuesday at 4PM exactly. No deployments. No traffic changes.’ Where do you look first? Weekly scheduled jobs, database maintenance windows, certificate renewals, or cloud provider billing cycles 💀 #BackendEngineering #Interview

Software engineering is the only job where the interview is harder than the actual work 👀🫠 Do you guys agree with this?

@uday_devops Image is the recipe, container is the meal. Same image can run as hundreds of containers simultaneously, but the image itself never changes 🔥

@Hiteshdotcom Pseudocode forces you to solve the actual problem instead of fighting syntax. If you can think it clearly you can write it in any language, if you can’t think it clearly no language will save you 🔥

Best way to practice Leetcode is to write pseudo code. No python, no java or javascript. Just pure pseudo code. Also, if you cannot convert pseudo code to actual code, that's a different problem that you have.
