@mt165 I've had that for a high-value delivery once. The delivery driver forgot to ask me for the code and just handed the package to me. I had to remind him he needed the code, so I'm not convinced the process actually works.

Also kinda interesting they're emailing them, not just getting me to use the TOTP I already have set up with them.

Amazon emailing "one-time passwords" for receiving deliveries - that's a new one. Interesting they use the rather technical term "OTP", rather than calling them "delivery codes" or whatever Uber Eats does.

@g3zay I can confirm that kaizen, kanban and nemawashi are all terms that have been used in software development in England for at least 8 years or so. Following Toyota's practices seems largely responsible.

According to the news it seems that following UK adoption of Japanese business practices like kaizen, kanban, and nemawashi, amakudari (descent from heaven) is now becoming popular at e.g. Ofwat.

Two lovely summits in the Spanish Pyrenees activated today: EA2/NV-021 and 023. Sadly fog prevented me from doing the third hill I had planned.

First SOTA summit for this trip done. F/PO-245 Xoldoko Gaina. I last did this hill in 2019 but today's walk was longer as I started at Hendaye train station. The forecast storms didn't arrive at least.

@g7soz Thanks. Tomorrow is my birthday and it's forecast to be very hot and sunny, so the plan is a day on the beach.

Took the train from London to Bayonne in the Basque Country yesterday for a week on the beach and SOTA activations in the Pyrenees.
