I am a Christian. I believe in the separation of church and state. I believe in democracy. I believe people should be free to live according to their own beliefs. My faith compels me to pursue the common good for all, not control. There are many of us out here.

Imagine being a Christian and publicly saying you’re not going to “affirm sin” towards people you disagree with, all while publicly supporting morally depraved politicians you do agree with, then still somehow wondering why our culture thinks Christians are hypocrites.

A Christianity that believes it needs a political party, president, legislation, and a nation to ensure its survival is a Christianity that actually dethrones Jesus as savior of the nations and advances a belief that Jesus needs a nation to be his savior.
