Wer widerspricht, gilt als „naiv“ oder „illoyal“. 2️⃣ Normalisierung des Ausnahmezustands Wenn man ständig vor einem Krieg warnt, akzeptieren Menschen schneller Einschränkungen von Freiheit und Grundrechten – „für die Sicherheit“. 3️⃣ Diplomatie wird als Schwäche dargestellt Wer über Verhandlungen spricht, wird verdächtigt, „Russlands Narrativ“ zu unterstützen. Kommunikation bricht ab – und das macht Konflikte real gefährlicher. 4️⃣ Angst als politisches Werkzeug Eine Gesellschaft in Angst ist leichter lenkbar. Und Angst frisst Rationalität – genau das, was man in Krisen am dringendsten braucht. 5️⃣ Selbsterfüllende Prophezeiung Wenn beide Seiten glauben, die andere bereite einen Angriff vor, steigt das Risiko, dass eine falsche Einschätzung einen Krieg auslöst. Die entscheidende Botschaft: Wer Krieg einkalkuliert, erhöht die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass er kommt. Wer auf Diplomatie setzt, erhöht die Chance, dass er ausbleibt. Sicherheit entsteht nicht, weil man der Bevölkerung den Ernstfall einredet – sondern wenn Politik verhindert, dass er überhaupt realistisch wird.

Diese Staaten haben kulturell, geschichtlich, sprachlich und kulinarisch soviel gemeinsam. Ich verstehe nicht, warum sie sich nicht zusammen tun und eine Union gründen.

A thawed relationship would collapse the narrative, shrink the budgets, and force uncomfortable questions about why we’ve spent decades poking the bear instead of trading with it. Fear sells weapons, sanctions sell LNG at premium prices, and ‘Putin bad’ is the cheapest marketing campaign Big Defence and Big Energy ever had.
