Relationships are everything, people are everything. In everything I do I am standing on the shoulders of giants. I hope to one day be able to nurture, support, and empower young teachers in the same way that I’ve been supported.

I met my current principal when she was one of the instructors in my teaching program and she has guided and mentored me for my entire career, even when I wasn’t on her staff. Now I am an instructor at that same university and I hope to follow her model of excellence in teaching.

I’m feeling very grateful for my job, my team, and the school I teach at! Environment is everything in education and I have one of the, if not the, best leadership teams in the district. Our school is amazing! Because of the people in it!! #iteachprek #opsproud @OPS_Highland

Big garden day in Pre K! We transplanted our bean seedlings from their sprout houses to carton pots so students could take them home, and some new friends moved into the garden! We used our new hallway feature to identify pollinators! So fun! #iteachprek #opsproud
